I love being a sitter because I am a fun, outgoing, loving and caring individual. Preparing kids in all aspects of life with unbiased support and attention is something I take great pleasure and pride in. I have several years of caregiving for children and elderly, as well as simple and diverse pets. I have some general housekeeping experience and would be open to learning more! I am cpr, first aid, and swim safe certified. I have my CNA and drivers license as well as my own transportation.

Welcome, my name is Ashley! I currently own and operate a single-employee in-home daycare in Henrico County. I have a very intimate group of little ones ranging from 2-5 years old. In my spare time I also offer evening and weekend childcare to little ones outside of my preschool program as well. I‘m currently Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified. I would describe myself to be passionate, responsible, and very reliable. I've worked in childcare for over 7 years professionally. Many years ago I started my career as a daycare infant teacher and have advanced to managing and directing a childcare facility. Though I've loved every single position I've held in childcare, nothing has fulfilled me like owning my own safe space to care for my little ones. I would love to assist you with your child care needs and learn more about your beautiful family! Please let me know if I can provide you with any additional information. I'm happy to provide multiple references and/or schedule a video interview. I look forward to hearing from you !

Ashley is kind and caring and incredibly patient! Our son recently has been struggling with separation and Ashley handled it so well and 7 minutes after we left she texted an update with pictures that all was well and calm. She is punctual, responds timely to requests, and flexible if we end up running later than anticipated. She is a high quality sitter!

I have experience caring for children from infancy through elementary age, both from full time nanny care and babysitting. I enjoy creating a safe, engaging, and dependable environment for kids. My nannying style is very hands-on and relationship-focused. I love getting kids outside, encouraging creativity and imagination, reading together, exploring nature, doing crafts, and helping children build confidence and independence in age-appropriate ways. I value patience, consistency, and good communication, and I always try to support the routines and parenting style that work best for each family. I’m dependable, adaptable, and enjoy being a steady and positive presence in a child’s daily life. I’m happy to help keep things running smoothly throughout the day and support a calm, well-functioning environment for both children and parents. A little about me personally: I’m very outdoorsy, creative, and family-oriented. I especially love outdoor activities, library trips, crafts, and helping kids stay curious about the world around them. - I am CPR and First Aid certified

I'm writing as a friend of Mikaila; she has also provided childcare for my 3 kids. While it is true that I would trust her to keep my kids for any length of time - a date, or several days - the real reason for that is hard to quantify in a list of skills. It has been our friendship that has taught me the most important piece of information regarding her qualifications: Mikaila has - at her core - a genuine love and interest in protecting and nurturing children and animals. Child care is not just a vocation or hobby for her; Mikaila views and treats children as whole and valuable identities, worthy of the same respect and consideration as her fellow adults. As a stay-at- home parent, I have the opportunity to see paid providers out and about with children. I see how they interact with children, and I hear what they say to their nanny colleagues. Behind closed doors, with her close friends around - Mikaila gushes over the children she cares for. I have never heard her say a negative thing about the children or the parents. She delights in the activities and experiences she has with children. Outside of her paid work, she continues to champion children: hosting a monthly Tea cups and Trailblazers (women making a difference in our world) for young girls; attending recitals and birthday parties; proudly displaying photos of children within her social circle in her home. My children consider Mikaila to be part of our family. If you are considering working with her, you will not regret having her as a part of yours.

I am a Special Education teacher at a local elementary school. Prior to teaching, I spent over 6 years working as a professional nanny, house manager, and newborn overnight care provider. I also have over 3 years experience as a substitute teacher in both private and public schools, as well as an assistant teacher in infant and toddler daycare classrooms. I hold an A.A.S. in Early Childhood Development with certifications in Early Childhood Development and Early Childhood Education, along with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in Education and Recreation & Wellness. I will be beginning my Master’s degree at UNCW this fall. I am CPR, First Aid, AED, and Water Safety certified, with extensive experience in allergy safety and EpiPen administration. I have extensive experience caring for children from newborns through school age and love creating engaging, play-based experiences that support appropriate development, milestones and preschool readiness. My approach blends hands-on play-based learning, sensory play, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, and Montessori-inspired activities to foster growth across all areas of development. Families often describe me as nurturing, reliable, and proactive. I strive to create a safe, structured environment where children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.

Hello!! My name is Cassie. I have 8+ years of working in early childhood education/care. I am currently working part time as a behavioral therapist at an ABA clinic, working with kids with autism. I also work part time as a nanny for a 6 year old girl. I have worked both of these jobs for about 4 years. Previously, I nannied for two different families for about two years each. Before that, I was a lead teacher in Montessori preschool classroom for ages 3-5 for several years. In my Pre-K classroom, I helped teach my students Spanish, basic math, and the foundations of reading and writing. I took charge of many of the craft and art projects, as I have a strong passion for art. In Montessori, I learned how to "guide" rather than "teach", allowing children to be more independent and hands-on in their own learning process. In Montessori, the students worked with me to create their own vegetable garden outside, and we had a lot of fun incorporating exploring nature into our lesson plans! I have experience with Kindergarten preparation, including conducting PALS testing. I graduated from VCU with a degree in International Social Justice. While completing my degree, I fell in love with teaching and working with kids. I am comfortable driving kids around to/from activities and have a clean driving record, as well as a safe/reliable car. I have three dogs of my own and used to work for a dog training company, so I love being around pets! I am, however, allergic to cats :( I am looking for occasional babysitting or part time gigs. If you think we would be a great fit, please reach out to me for a phone interview or more information! Thank you!
