Hi, I am Avery! I have absolutely loved children ever since I was little. I also have many siblings, so I am very used to kids. I started being a sitter for my neighbors when I was about 13 or 14 and have babysat more and more ever since then! It is something I love doing!

I have been babysitting since i was a freshman in high school but grew up helping ones younger than me my whole life. I absolutely love caring for and creating a special bond with the kids i watch. As a babysitter/nanny, I have cared for infants as young as 6 weeks up to children of 13 years of age. I am comfortable with all age groups but find toddlers and preschool aged children to be my favorite age group. My philosophy is too much television creates a lazy child. Children who sit in front of a television are missing out on physical activities, and opportunities to make friends and expand on their social skills.

I like working with kids because I never know what they're going to say! They are so funny and sweet. I also love playing with them and teaching them new skills. I have been working with children for 5 years! I have worked at a few schools, children church programs and even child care centers at ski resorts! I have experience in babysitting odd jobs as well. I have experience working with children from 3 months old to 8 years old. I have special needs experience with children as well. I also grew up around children because my mom owned a preschool that I also attended as a child! I am also CPR/First Aid certified. I have a CDA (Child Development Associate). Hello Im Alea Massey I love sitting because being apart of a child's life and teaching them new things is important for their growth. I baby sat ages from 0-5 years old for 3-4 years and really enjoyed it.
