Hello! My name is Brittany. I’ve always loved children, since I was one myself. I remember how excited I was to take the Red Cross Babysitting and Childcare Training Course the summer going into 6th grade. Ever since then I have always found myself working with children in some capacity. From those early days babysitting, then enjoying volunteering as a Kid’s Class Instructor at the Kung Fu Academy I attended throughout my childhood and teen years. I found my first job at a Potterville Pottery, primarily instructing kids and adults in Ceramics and Acrylic Painting. There I maintained weekly private lessons with multiple students, ranging from 6 years old to High School age. All throughout my teen and early college years I maintained contact with around five families who I would provide as needed babysitting services for. As I wanted to cultivate the joy I found in caring for children, I found my first full-time job as a private caregiver for a lovely family a few towns away. It cemented how I truly enjoyed guiding children to be their very best. Now, I seek to continue my childcare career. From April to October, I manage a busy State Park Campground. Through the winters I provide childcare services for multiple families, or sometimes one full-time. While the care of children may be the primary goal of having a Nanny, I recognize the support I can provide to the whole family. I am a very neat person, and I love to clean. Often while a baby naps or a toddler has some independent quiet time, I seek to tidy the living spaces, keep the kitchen sink shining, and help with other chores to keep the space as inviting as possible for the family. I am a very patient, calm, kind soul, and I feel the need to demonstrate that in caring for children. I would love to connect with you and your family.

Hi, I'm Larkin and I've been taking care of kids since I was 12. At that age, I started a summer camp and also worked at a different camp for the next 6 summers. During that time I also babysat individual kids throughout the school year. In 2017 or 2018 I started substitute teaching at Four Winds in Gill, an alternative middle school. When people ask me which ages are my favorite, I never know what to say because there is something unique and fun about every age! I spent years taking circus classes and love to tumble around with kids if that's something they're interested. I'm also passionate about social justice and writing and love to bring those things into my work if you and your kids and excited about it. One thing to know about me is that I'm non-binary (they made me pick a binary gender on this website, unfortunately) and use they/them pronouns. I'm totally happy to teach and help your kids get used to that, but I need to be in a family that will accept and respect my identity.
