I am 26 year old bilingual nurse aspiring to obtain her DNP. Ive been around kids all of my life since I come from a very big family. I have experience with teens and pre-teens for about 4 years . I am experienced in helping out with homework from English , math, science and even art projects. I consider myself a hands on babysitter and will play inside or outside with kids or pets! Aid in sleep or dietary schedules necessary. Hi there! I recently earned my degree in early childhood education from Skagit & Highline College, and I have been caring for children for 5+ years as a childcare provider. I work with all ages such as newborns, infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age. I love working with young kids as I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. I want to be able to provide parents with someone trustworthy to care for their children.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I'm currently looking for a position around 20-30 hours per week starting after 9:30/10 a.m. My pay rate range is $30-$40. I'm flexible on position responsibilities and hours/days. About Me: I moved to Seattle a year ago and have fallen in love with the PNW! I spend most of my free time exploring with my golden retriever, Grace. I enjoy a large variety of hobbies, such as hiking, photography, music, crafts, and sports. I have over 15 years of experience caring for children from infancy through the teenage years. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, stable environment with a focus on fun, learning, and balance. I plan outings, activities, etc. to keep kids engaged and happy while also ensuring that they have downtime to recharge. I recognize that all families and all children are different. I can quickly adapt my approach based on the uniqueness of each child and the needs of the family. Hope to hear from you soon!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Rachael. From day one, she gained the trust of both of my kids through her warm tone, playful energy, and genuine attention to who they are as individuals. She has a special talent for making everyday moments fun and cooperative. For example, when my son was deep into space and astronauts, she turned breakfast into “astronaut fuel from outer space” — and suddenly eating was an adventure instead of a struggle. She’s thoughtful like that. She remembers little details about each child (like how my younger one likes his morning “nest” with all his stuffies and a blanket) and uses those details to make them feel safe and understood. She is incredibly responsible and reliable — always on time, communicative, and easy to coordinate with. I especially appreciate how responsive she is. Mornings can be hectic, and she consistently shows up ready to help. One of her first questions is, “How can I help?” — and she means it. She’ll jump in to tidy up blankets, reset the couch, or handle small things without being asked. It makes such a difference. What stands out most is how calmly and proactively she navigates tricky moments. Once when my son was upset and crying in the car, she had already anticipated the possibility and brought bubbles to help him regulate — which worked beautifully. Another time, she noticed him swinging a chip clip on a string in a way that could have been unsafe. Without any prompting, she stepped in kindly, explained the issue, and he willingly stopped — and hasn’t done it since. She handles safety with confidence and warmth, not fear or overreaction. She drives my kids to daycare in the mornings, and I feel completely at ease knowing they are with her. She brings a bubbly, joyful presence into our home that we all genuinely look forward to. Any family would be lucky to have her.

Hello families! My name is Hayley, I am 23 years old, and I am a fun, patient, and engaging, and experienced babysitter! I have been working in a professional childcare setting as a preschool teacher for 5 years now and have been babysitting for 7 months as well. I’m CPR certified, have my own car, and am currently taking classes to get my AA in early childhood education. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, reading, and going on outings. I’m firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to.

I’ve spent years working with kids in all kinds of settings — babysitting babies and toddlers, helping out in kindergartens, and supporting groups of children in different programs. I truly love what I do. Watching kids learn, grow, and discover new things has always been one of my favorite parts of the job. Whether I’m calming a baby, helping with early learning skills, or creating fun activities, working with children is something that brings me so much joy.

We hired Lesley to help take care of our 3 month old infant overnight. She is very good at soothing a baby who only contact sleeps, and quickly adapted to nuances of care. She is very easy to get along with and clearly loves children. We are looking forward to the remaining month and a half of time we need her assistance overnight.

I love being a sitter because it gives me the opportunity to connect with others, whether it’s pets, children, or elderly individuals. There’s something incredibly rewarding about providing care and seeing those I look after feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I enjoy the flexibility of the job, too, as it allows me to balance my time while helping others with their needs. It’s fulfilling to know that I’m offering peace of mind to families or pet owners. have experience in [pet sitting/babysitting/elderly care], where I’ve learned to manage tasks like feeding, administering medications, and providing companionship. Over time, I’ve gained confidence in caring for different individuals, whether it’s keeping pets entertained and active or helping children with their daily routines. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with families on various occasions, which has improved my ability to adapt to different needs and preferences. I have strong communication skills, which help me interact effectively with both the individuals I’m caring for and their families. I’m also trained in first aid and CPR, which I believe is an essential skill for any sitter. I have experience managing schedules and routines, especially with children or pets, and I’m good at keeping everything organized. I’m patient, compassionate, and enjoy being proactive in addressing any challenges that may arise, whether that’s calming an anxious pet or ensuring a child feels safe and secure.
