Why do you love being a sitter?! love being a sitter because it allows me to provide care and support in a meaningful way. I enjoy building connections, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and making a positive impact on those in my care. What experience do you have?! have experience working in both healthcare and customer service roles, including in-home elder care. My background includes assisting with daily activities, following care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation. I've also worked in fast-paced environments that required strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. What skills and training do you have?! have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which has trained me in safety, first aid, and emergency response. My name is Hailey and I‘m 30 years old. I relocated to Spokane from Tri-Cities to be closer to family about 6 years ago now. I have 10 years of experience working in childcare through previous nanny jobs, working in the infant room at KinderCare, as well as working as an assistant teacher at Children's Garden Montessori school. I have cared for children of all ages ranging from infant to pre teen through my previous jobs. I currently work night shifts a few nights a week at Sunshine Health Facilities. In 2017 received my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education through Columbia Community College. I have stayed up to date on my CPR and first aid certification when I received my nurse aid certification last year. I have 3 great references I can send you. I hope you will consider me when you are looking for care for your family!

Hello! My name is Ireland Sutton and I just recently moved to the Spokane area after finishing my contract with the U.S. Army! Before joining the service, I spent my pre-teen and teenage years taking care of little ones (ages 2 months-11 years) through both full and part-time nanny positions. I recently resigned from working at Sacred Heart Medical Center as a caregiver, and am both CPR and BLS certified. I find my passion in providing the absolute best care I can through attentiveness, empathy, and compassion. I feel qualified as a nanny not only because of experience, but because I genuinely care about my work. I strive to provide and encourage a positive environment wherever I am placed.

My name is Rachel and I am 27 years old. I am the oldest of four siblings and Igrew up being their built in babysitter which is where my childcare experience started. I’ve always enjoyed working with children as it’s such a fulfilling job to watch them grow and see how you took part in their development. At age 16 and 17 I held a job as a referee for children’s sports during two summers from a range of ages (3 - 14 years). I also volunteered at my church’s ‘Vacation Bible School’ during the summer. I moved away from working with kids for a long while after that, aside from babysitting children of family members’ here and there. I mainly held jobs in customer service until August 2023 when I began working at Lilac City Early Learning Center in Spokane. During this time I underwent a background check + fingerprinting, renewed my cpr + first aid certification, took a 30hr STARS training course, received a blood borne pathogens certification, went through several conscious discipline modules and obtained a ton of hands on experience with ages ranging from infants to five year olds. We practiced conscious discipline at the center and I found it to be very aligned with my view of kids and how I want to parent my own daughter. I believe kids need help working through their emotions and to find constructive ways to do that. Working at the center gave me a lot of ideas for redirecting children towards better choices when experiencing big emotions. I went on maternity leave mid December and returned to the center in May 2023. My partner and I relocated to Shoreline at the beginning of June, thus I quit working at the center and began working for families as their nanny/occasional babysitter. Since June I have worked for two families full time and several families doing more occasional/backup care. Now my daughter is 11mo. I am very familiar with watching multiple children at one time since the classrooms at Lilac City would have anywhere between 4-10 children per teacher depending on the age group. I am looking forward to connecting with you and your children.

My name is Sierra. I absolutely love making the kiddos happy by engaging them in age appropriate activities. I am a quick learner. I’ve been certified in child care for 6 years now. I also have my 5 year old daughter who comes with for most day time work, if you’re needing night time, date nights or weekends I can most likely leave her at home. She is amazing with all ages and absolutely adores the babies. I was the twos lead teacher and then quickly moved to manager at a daycare center for a year and have tons of experience with all ages (0-13). I have a clean driving record if pickup/drop off is what you need. I’m an animal lover. I’m also a clean freak so feel free to leave those pesky dishes in the sink!

I am a rising sophomore studying philosophy, theology, and outdoor leadership at Wyoming Catholic College looking for part-time summer employment, around 30hrs/week, until August 4th. I am very creative, patient, and have a friendly demeanor thus making me easy to get along with. Although I only have a year of formal childcare experience, I choose to continue in it because I greatly value the upbringing of children. I want to create a loving, secure, fun, and healthy environment for children to thrive in.
