Hi there! I recently earned my degree in early childhood education from Skagit & Highline College, and I have been caring for children for 5+ years as a childcare provider. I work with all ages such as newborns, infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age. I love working with young kids as I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. I want to be able to provide parents with someone trustworthy to care for their children.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I'm currently looking for a position around 20-30 hours per week starting after 9:30/10 a.m. My pay rate range is $30-$40. I'm flexible on position responsibilities and hours/days. About Me: I moved to Seattle a year ago and have fallen in love with the PNW! I spend most of my free time exploring with my golden retriever, Grace. I enjoy a large variety of hobbies, such as hiking, photography, music, crafts, and sports. I have over 15 years of experience caring for children from infancy through the teenage years. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, stable environment with a focus on fun, learning, and balance. I plan outings, activities, etc. to keep kids engaged and happy while also ensuring that they have downtime to recharge. I recognize that all families and all children are different. I can quickly adapt my approach based on the uniqueness of each child and the needs of the family. Hope to hear from you soon!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Rachael. From day one, she gained the trust of both of my kids through her warm tone, playful energy, and genuine attention to who they are as individuals. She has a special talent for making everyday moments fun and cooperative. For example, when my son was deep into space and astronauts, she turned breakfast into “astronaut fuel from outer space” — and suddenly eating was an adventure instead of a struggle. She’s thoughtful like that. She remembers little details about each child (like how my younger one likes his morning “nest” with all his stuffies and a blanket) and uses those details to make them feel safe and understood. She is incredibly responsible and reliable — always on time, communicative, and easy to coordinate with. I especially appreciate how responsive she is. Mornings can be hectic, and she consistently shows up ready to help. One of her first questions is, “How can I help?” — and she means it. She’ll jump in to tidy up blankets, reset the couch, or handle small things without being asked. It makes such a difference. What stands out most is how calmly and proactively she navigates tricky moments. Once when my son was upset and crying in the car, she had already anticipated the possibility and brought bubbles to help him regulate — which worked beautifully. Another time, she noticed him swinging a chip clip on a string in a way that could have been unsafe. Without any prompting, she stepped in kindly, explained the issue, and he willingly stopped — and hasn’t done it since. She handles safety with confidence and warmth, not fear or overreaction. She drives my kids to daycare in the mornings, and I feel completely at ease knowing they are with her. She brings a bubbly, joyful presence into our home that we all genuinely look forward to. Any family would be lucky to have her.

We hired Denise for our 15 month old boy on a very short notice for a weekday when the daycare was closed. We couldn’t have gotten luckier! She is a wonderful, warm person and is also extremely professional. My little one loved her instantly and was very happy to spend time with her for the entire day! She is amazing with babies. I highly recommend her and would surely hire her again!

Hi there, I'm Chloe! I hope to provide a fun, loving, and safe environment for your little ones. I have about a year and a half of professional experience in childcare. I have cared for my niece and nephews regularly from birth through childhood as well. I am a Medical Assistant so I am certified in CPR and have first aid training. I believe my clinical experience caring for adults, babies, children, and seniors has strengthened my ability to stay calm, attentive, and responsive. Currently, I am taking a step back from clinical work so I can go to school for nursing. I’m absolutely thrilled at this opportunity to get back into childcare! I'm patient, dependable, and happy to follow your household guidelines and communication preferences. I enjoy crafts, outdoor adventures, and can assist with light housekeeping, errands, and travel. I love cooking so I’d be more than happy to help out with meal prep, packing lunches, and providing snacks. I’m experienced with cooking vegan and vegetarian options if needed. I have a car with a valid license and insurance so I can assist with any transportation that may be required. I love animals of all kinds and sizes so I am more than comfortable if you have pets! Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have. Looking forward to hearing from you and your family! :)

Hello, My name is Olyvia Salter, I am a Sophomore at Whitworth University. I am the eldest of three children. Growing up in a big family as the oldest, I was often put in the position of babysitter for the family party. I was responsible for the younger ones to eat and go potty, while making sure the older ones were not bickering and fighting. As I have gotten older I have babysat for children ages three to 12. Often times the children I have watched have previously known me from either church or family members. I have also been primary caretaker over my twin siblings from birth until 10 years old. I am also CPR/1st AID certified, gotten my TB shot recently, and STARS training certified. I am verying caring, genuine and love to have fun and make memories. I hope this helps you get a feel for who I am and how I function.

Hello families! My name is Donaisha, but I go by Dee. I am originally born and raised in California, and have been a resident here in Washington for about 5 years now. I am a mother to a beautiful, sweet, smart, funny, outgoing and friendly 6 year old daughter (Kenya). I call her my assistant as she sometimes has to accompany me to jobs I pick up here. She is the reason I began my nanny journey back in 2017. During the past 6 years I have done pretty much every setting when it comes to childcare! Such as, day cares, baby sitting, date nights, overnight care, Montessori teacher, private home educator, learning pods, camp counselor, and tutoring. It’s truly a passion of mine to not only be apart of experiencing these kiddos growth, but also being able to help take the load off of parents who may be juggling a lot. I am Montessori certified, CPR and first aid certified, and up to date with all vaccines. My schedule is currently open and flexible for this upcoming summer and I would love to meet and connect with more families!

I love being a sitter because it gives me the opportunity to connect with others, whether it’s pets, children, or elderly individuals. There’s something incredibly rewarding about providing care and seeing those I look after feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I enjoy the flexibility of the job, too, as it allows me to balance my time while helping others with their needs. It’s fulfilling to know that I’m offering peace of mind to families or pet owners. have experience in [pet sitting/babysitting/elderly care], where I’ve learned to manage tasks like feeding, administering medications, and providing companionship. Over time, I’ve gained confidence in caring for different individuals, whether it’s keeping pets entertained and active or helping children with their daily routines. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with families on various occasions, which has improved my ability to adapt to different needs and preferences. I have strong communication skills, which help me interact effectively with both the individuals I’m caring for and their families. I’m also trained in first aid and CPR, which I believe is an essential skill for any sitter. I have experience managing schedules and routines, especially with children or pets, and I’m good at keeping everything organized. I’m patient, compassionate, and enjoy being proactive in addressing any challenges that may arise, whether that’s calming an anxious pet or ensuring a child feels safe and secure.
