For 13 years I worked with groups of elementary aged children in science enrichment programs as well as supervising and instructing in summer camp settings. For the last five years I have worked as a before school nanny for one family, and afternoons as a family assistant to another family with teenagers. For three years I have been an after school/camp nanny for 2 additional families. I also provide child care nights and weekends for several other families on an occasional basis. I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old. I wanted to give back for all the years that I had been taken care of. I took a specific course to become a babysitter and started to babysit my neighbors. I had heard about a course specifically for babysitting, so I took it. After that I was good to go to babysit the whole neighborhood. It worked out perfectly while I attended UC Davis. I graduated with two degrees in Dramatic Art and Design, and two minors in Chicano Studies and Education. I love to teach it and create new things. I am also a Spanish native speaker.
