I have 4 years of childcare experience through this platform and Care.com (years 2018-2022). I then moved on to retail management, but have dropped my hours to be enrolled in school. I loved nannying while getting my first degree and am ready to get back into it! I have experience with children ages 2-12 years old. I have learned morning, afterschool, and bed time routines. I have helped with school work and ensuring chores get done, as well as encouraging developmental skills. I have experience with diaper changing and potty training. I have made simple meals and provide light housekeeping. I am not currently CPR certified, but have taken the course twice and am willing to take again. I enjoy reading or being read to, as well as arts and crafts. I enjoy coloring, pottery or play-doh figures, building forts, and a new interest in LEGOs. Hello! I have been in childcare since I graduated from high school in 2013. While in school for a Bachelors in History from UW Whitewater, I served as a nanny for three different families. After moving back home to attend Cardinal Stritch for an MA in Teaching, I took a position at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County. From 2019 to fall of this past year, I was promoted three times, and ended my employment as a unit director there due to moving to Milwaukee. While there and in school, I became an expert in child development, activity planning, and implementation. I am also CPR and first aid certified. Since leaving the Clubs, I spent a year and a half in the daycare field. As a result of this, I have all my early education licensure. I have been back in private childcare for three years now because I love the personal aspect to it, and it aligns more with my life at the moment.
