Hi, my name is Lucia. I love Jesus and have been blessed to be a mother of two children of my own. I am looking for a nannying position that would allow me to care for another child as I also care for my one and a half year old son. I am currently employed at a daycare, but am in search of a more intentional position. Nannying would allow me to focus more on teaching and encouraging children intentionally rather than having multiple kids to care for at once and just getting by in a childcare facility. I have qualifying experience in working with children of many ages. I began nannying as a teenager, and my first position was caring for two twin infants through their toddler years. Learning to care for twins has taught me plenty in multitasking and caring for more than one child at a time in a home setting. I also worked in an elementary school as an educational assistant for some years. I worked with children from first grade through fifth grade. I also managed and lead the after school program. The age range of after school care students ranged from three year old's through high schoolers. I am now currently employed at a day care where I work with infants through seven year old's. I am in hope of finding a position that would allow me to care for and teach another child or two while still being able to bring my one and a half year old son along. I am a firm believer in teaching children through play and activities. I also understand each child is a blessing and made uniquely. Understanding each child as an individual and their way of learning is what I hope to be able to cater to and flourish. I am a mature experienced nanny that brings together an educational environment and fun. I have years of experience as a teacher. I also have a Bachelors degree in Psychology which comes in quite handy when dealing with children and their individualism. I am good in the kitchen and make kid friendly, nutritious meals and snacks. I am a level 14 on The Registry of Wisconsin and have child/Infant/Adult CPR, First Aid and AED. I am also fully vaccinated and boosted. I am availability Monday through Fridays daytime hours. No nights and no weekends.

I started babysitting at the age of 9 years old and when I was 12 I took the babysitting course. Once I graduated high school I worked at a daycare center for a year and a half and then I got another full-time job and ended up watching my cousin’s kiddos after my full-time job for a few hours every night. In the meantime I ended up getting married to my husband (just celebrated 16 years in July) and went through years of infertility until we finally decided to adopt our 2 kiddos…our son is now 11 & our daughter is now 9. After my son was born I ended up being a stay at home mom and did childcare out of my house for the last 11 years.

I’m 21 years old and have had 8 years experience in babysitting and I love being around kids. I have a car and can drive the kids around as well. I am CPR + First Aid certified, I normally work with kids 2-12 years old but also have experience with infants. I am God centered and would love to be in a home where I can tell kids about Christ and share my love of God. I am a very creative person as well. I love to sew, crochet, bake, and paint. If your children show an interest I would enjoy teaching them crafts and getting them creative. I love a clean home and home cooked meals so I can get chores done while kids nap/ play and can cook meals and bake for them. I am very passionate about leading kids to be responsible, kind, and loving. I believe this is possible only in Gods love, which is why I think a Christian home would be a great fit. I would love to read them books and play board games and overall spend time with them. I can also help get homework done. Hello! I have a combined over 2 years of paid experience in childcare and many more years of non-paid. I have worked in settings such as daycares, summer school, and babysitting to provide care to children from ages 6 weeks - 14 years. I have a passion for working with children and their families and enjoy watching them grow and learn about the world around them. I received my CPR/AED training in May of 2023 and am majoring in Child Psychology. So I know a lot about the different stages of development and what the need at each stage.
