I just moved to the Oak Creek area have a passion for working, watching, teaching, and playing with children! I have worked with ages six weeks through 18 years old over the course of my life, and I have tons of experience across the board. I nannied during high school and college, and worked at an early childhood center for a few years, focusing specifically on 6 weeks to 1 months, and later three years to five years. During the 2024 school year, I watched over a family of 3 children (9, 7, and 4). I picked them up from school, took them to the library and parks, and helped them with reading and any homework. If you're interested in a similar weekly set up, I can definitely make that work, too! I am available most week nights beginning 4:30pm, and can definitely be available during the weekends when needed! I travel monthly for 2-3 days for work, but am typically very flexible. I love pets and would be fine taking care of yours, as well!

* I am the loving and nurturing, Christian mother of 2 college-aged "kids". * I have been a childcare provider for about 30 years. * I only care for 1-3 children at a time. * I am a nonsmoker. * I have wonderful references from happy families. * I have a clean background check. Children in my care benefit from the following: * Fun and educational activities for all ages will include arts and crafts, singing, games, cooking, science and more - I will bring fun activities to your home! Sometimes we may even have "theme nights". * Outdoor time, including walks to nearby neighborhood parks and other outdoor activities (weather permitting). * Transportation possible to after-school activities. * Homework help/encouragement. * Healthy meals, snacks and beverages can be created and/or served. * I believe in back-to-basics type of childcare, with mainly child-powered toys and activities, to help inspire creativity, encourage independence and create a love of learning. * Please contact me with any questions or to set up a meeting with me. I would love to meet with you and your child(ren) to discuss things further.

Hi, my name is Renee Varland. I am married and have two children, ages 14 and 16 years. I worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist for 20 years. My husband and I moved to Oak Creek in 1994. In addition to raising my own children, I babysat for many years as a teenager and have babysat neighbors' and friends' children as an adult. For the last nine months I been caring for an infant. This job ended because the grandparents now care for the child. Also, for one year I have prepared an elementary school child for school on some days in the early morning. I am CPR certified, I have my own transportation, and I am a non-smoker. Some of my favorite hobbies are jogging, camping, cooking, and cake decorating. I am very involved in my own childrens' lives and continue to participate actively in their school activities, sports, music lessons, fund raisers and band. I am very personable, professsional, like to have fun and try new things. I'm sure you would enjoy me as a caregiver. Renee Varland

Hello, I have extensive experience working with children in both educational and caregiving settings. Since 2004, I have worked in a school environment, and in 2007, I earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. I spent over 12 years as a Teacher and Assistant in Early Childhood Education for the Head Start program before transitioning to the School District in 2017, where I began working in Special Education. As part of my ongoing professional development, I regularly attend training sessions, including Pyramid Model Training, CPR/First Aid certification, and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Through my years of experience, I have learned the importance of creating a nurturing environment that incorporates structure, routines, and meaningful learning opportunities to support each child’s unique development. Additionally, I am highly conscious of health and safety. I follow CDC guidelines and take extra precautions to prevent the spread of illnesses, including COVID-19. If needed I will wear a mask. Additionally, I have undergone multiple background checks through the school district, all of which are clear. I also have a reliable insured vehicle. I am an animal lover. I am a dog mom of an Italian greyhound. I am patient, fun, and caring. I would love the opportunity to provide quality care for your child and look forward to connecting! I appreciate your time and consideration.

Hello! My name is Maya, and I have worked as a personal nanny and professional daycare teacher for a total of about seven years. Most of my experience comes from caring for children ages 0-4 years. I have also worked in adult residential care facilities and overseen the training of employees in everything from food safety to bloodborne pathogens, so I'm very familiar with safety measures and emergency procedures. I've lived in Milwaukee most of my life, and know my way around all the best parks and outing spots. I am also a local theatre professional (10+ years), and have a great passion for encouraging storytelling and the arts in young people. In my personal life I love cooking creative meals, discovering a good book, caring for my herb garden, and drawing.

I bring 12 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, in both part-time and full-time roles. Along with my childcare background, I have 5 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a children’s hospital, where I gained extensive knowledge in child health, safety, and developmental care. I am car seat safety certified and CPR certified, giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are in safe, capable hands. My caregiving style is warm, patient, and engaging—I love creating a fun and nurturing environment while supporting milestones, learning, and everyday routines. I’m currently seeking a flexible part-time or as needed nanny position with a family who values trust, open communication, and reliable care.
