Hello! I currently teach kindergarten part time and am looking to help a family with after school care, all day Thursday care, or summer hours. In the past I have been a special needs aid for Germantown elementary schools, which led me to teach since I loved it! My previous experience also includes being a full time nanny for twin boys from the age of 7 months til they turned 2. I enjoy being with children and I find it fulfilling when I’m able to teach them new things. I have worked as a camp counselor over the summer at EPIC martial arts which is located in Woodstock GA, I have moved here to Wisconsin to live with my mother and go to school, I am studying interior design. I know how to keeping kids busy with either crafts or an activity. I am not a huge fan of electronics I would rather go do something outside or an activity or craft I don’t mind the TV for a movie though. I know how to deal with injuries and know how to deal with conflict or frustration. If there is a conflict I will listen to all sides and take action form there and if there is frustration I will help calm the situation. If you need help with pets or cleaning just let me know and I can help cook meals if you’d like me to.

Hello! I’m Amy, a single mom of two children ages 7 and 4. The seven year-old is in first grade and the four-year-old is in 4K full-time. I also have availability on some evenings and weekends. I’ve previously been employed as a licensed to funeral director the last 15 years. I took a step away from the industry to allow for more time with my own family. I absolutely LOVE working with children!!! I used to work at a daycare full-time, and I worked for a wonderful family last year for almost 6 months watching there 2 boys 3 days a week minimum until they moved to a different city. Otherwise, I would still be working for them, because the family really liked me and still does, and the boys both loved me, especially the 3 year old, seeing as he still talks about me almost a year later. I have a letter of recommendation, in which, the wife wrote for me. I have experience working with infants, as well as potty training. The mom of the two boys would speak well of me potty training her oldest son, seeing as the other boy was almost a year old when my time with them ended. Therefore, he was still in diapers when I left, but she would love it if I were able to be there to potty train him too, when he is old enough. I would love to be a part of your family, if it's a good fit for all of us, because I want your family to have the proper caretaker working with your child/children that best fits their needs, seeing as that is what I would be there for. I also enjoy cooking and cleaning, and cleaning up before I leave is a non-negotiable, because I like my work area to be clean, as well as neat and tidy, especially when the job is complete for the day. I want you to come home to a clean environment as well.
