I understand how hard is can be to decided to be single income and have "free" childcare, or to have to both work in order to make it. I would love to bring some families relief in that way. I am a certified Indiana State Substitute Teacher. Through this, I have had a full background check, drug screening, as well as CPR certification. I am a graduate student at UW-Madison looking for a part-time nannying position. I have a B.A. in Spanish and I am earning my masters in Occupational Therapy. I have been babysitting since I was 13 and worked as a lifeguard for 2 years. I've taught swim lessons (kids 4-10) and coached swim team (kids 9-16). As a college student I worked for Get Ready!, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), and MARC (Mentoring and Readiness for College), tutoring programs helping kids as young as elementary school prepare for college.  I took one year off during college and worked as a nanny in the Milwaukee area, and worked as a full-time nanny in Chicago after graduating. Additionally, I served with City Year Milwaukee for a year, tutoring Spanish speaking students in an urban high school. My favorite activities are art projects, outdoor activities, and of course swimming! I am hoping to find a family who needs a fun, flexible and loving nanny.
