I am planning a few trips in April and I am looking for someone to take in my sweet, mostly well-behaved puppy. She is 8 months, potty-trained, and knows sit, down, wait, and come (not always reliable on the last one). She wears a gentle lead to prevent pulling, but this is only for squirrel protection and for when she really wants to play with another dog.

She is mostly mellow, but if out walking she will see if other dogs are up for play. This is her favorite thing. She is not a barker (only if she sees a threat).

Other dogs in the home are fine as long as they are mellow and dog friendly: my puppy will try to play with them. She has never met a cat. She does well with older kids, but is big enough that toddlers shy away from her. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but she likes to chew, so needs to be placed in situations where she only has opportunities to chew on her things (toys, bones, etc.)

Lastly, she can't be in the car for longer than 5 minutes without medications, as she gets motion sick otherwise. So the best fit would be someone close and/or someone who is home a lot.
