I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had pets. Currently my husband and I share our home with, 2 senior poodles(sisters), an 80 pound husky, and a 12 year old kitty. Oh, and a beta fish named Sargeant Pepper. All our fur babies are rescues.
I retired last October after working 35 years as a recreation associate at a local hospital. When I worked with geriatric patients a few years ago, I often took my dog Frankie to work with me as a therapy dog. The patients loved him and he loved them right back.
I'm really loving being retired but I'd like to earn some extra money and can't think of a better or more enjoyable way to do it than being a pet sitter. I'm a very responsible and reliable person and promise to treat your pets as if they were my own.
Over the years I've taken care of many dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. I'm able to dispense medications, prepare special diets as needed, and am very familiar with local vets as well as Emergi-Pet.
