I am an experienced animal trainer, I have been training horses for the past 10 years and i began training service dogs or any kind of dog trainer was a couple years ago, and quickly discovered the term “balanced training” and wanting to learn more, I threw myself in to my studies to do everything I could to educate myself and know what I was talking about. I actually grew a fairly large social media following and began to owner train my own dog. As she has had reactivity issues, issues with pulling and leash manners, anxiety and inability to self sooth and just an overall scared dog. I trained her until she became almost perfect, until she was fully off leash, voice and or hand signal trained, and I thought we were unstoppable. Now almost a year later, she has been attacked 9 times by off-leash and or reactive dogs. She is back in training and slowly making her way to the top. Now some of us just get blessed with “easy” dogs, but what about the rest of us? What are we supposed to do? Keep our dogs inside and closed off because we are scared, with no idea what to do? Well, I’ve been there, I may not know your exact path, but I know that feeling, that fear. And I am here to tell you that I can help. I have worked with all sorts of dogs, from “easy” all the way to an aggressive male dog that had attacked 12 people(two including babies) who has personally dragged me down an ally, and when he would get out, it would usually take anywhere from 1-3 hours, all family members, and about 4, to maybe 6 police officers to get him back home. So I can tell you, no animal is untrainable, there is no “bad” dog. It’s all about structure, consistency, and communication. So if you need a trainer or even just someone to clean up after them.
