I have fostered and trained countless rescue dogs, and have bottle-fed entire litters of orphaned puppies and kittens through weaning. (My current fur baby is a foster "failure" orange tabby cat who stole my heart as an infant!)

I was a long-term dogsitter for an ancient black lab, Bella, whose owners traveled for work. For four years, I spent at least one week a month with Bella, and administered her meds 3x a day, hoisted her hips with a harness for pottying and exercise, sometimes even slept on the floor next to her when she became blind and disoriented.

I have cared for bearded dragons, baby goats, frogs, tarantulas, chickens, and even a stray horse when I lived 50 miles from civilization in the Alaskan bush!
