Caring for animals is my passion and I want to give my time toward that purpose. I was a volunteer at Valley Oak SPCA in Visalia, CA for a year after a long 40-year work life, and found it extremely rewarding. Since relocating to Apple Valley, I want to continue volunteering, and subsequently, completed orientation with Apple Valley Animal Services. I feel it is important and vital for the animals to have visits just like people shut in at hospitals and prisons. I also spent several hours walking and socializing with the dogs, also a little time with cats, and assisted customers and staff. I saw the difference in these animals week by week, happier, healthier, and responsive - all to enable them to be adopted in a forever home. It is so good to meet my neighbors while bike riding, and be greeted by their pets! Whether a dog has a forever home or not, my joy is to treat them as good or better than their owners. Helping people and pets is what I do, so you can count on me for running errands and providing transportation for you. Also, I'm pretty good at fixing computers too - virus removal, data recovery, and system optimization. Also, I can book you to do errands and perform minor home repairs and alterations. I have my own tools and experience with hanging drywall, replacing doors, and general electrical tasks.
