For starters, I grew up in a family household filled with multiple pet types. We had everything from a giant red tailed hawk that was injured so we repaired its wing & eventually released. I took a baby chick home from my Elementary school to care for it a week long. My aunt & uncle had Dalmatian for years since just puppy ages, my mom was always a huge kitten/cat lover, my daughter had a bunny named Lola (Bugs Bunny’s cute girlfriend from classic cartoon days gone past), I had a parakeet bird, we had Finches (very noisy!), too many fish to remember, a turtle, lizards my hunter-like sons caught on their own from parks/backyard, and we finally moved to a place where dogs are allowed. Our first mixed puppy (small breed) was a Covid 2021 Easter surprise to everyone. And “LUCKY” is his name-O! Lol so we’ll basically accept any of God’s creatures into our home whenever it’s necessary & we’re allowed to do so. One of my younger sons is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to animal facts :)
