Ashley applied to a job posting for my son. We spoke on the phone and I was happy to have her on board. She sounded intelligent and lovely on the phone. After that, she emailed me references and I put in a request for a background check through the sittercity website. Since my request, I have not heard from her. She also has not accepted that the request be completed. I texted, emailed and left a voicemail (on the second try. Someone picked up and then hung up on my first call). I even saw that she called my cell but didn't leave a message. It has now been one week that I've been trying to reach her with no success. I do see online that she's active on her instagram account so I know she is ok, at least. I still do not know if she no longer needed the job or got a new job or why she simply stopped returning my texts, calls and emails. It's frustrating to think you've hired someone for a position then for them to simply stop communicating with you. Very disappointed.
