Hello my name is Madison Boone I am 18 years old. I graduated High School with a 3.0 G.P.A I was on honor roll, I was a teacher's aid for 2 years working with children with disabilities. While I was a teacher's aid I learned how to assist students to their basic needs by helping them read or write also coloring and painting. I also helped feed them there food I played with them on fun Friday. I would sing and dance, I would assist walks with them around the campus. I would do fun activities with them like planting flowers watering the garden etc. But there were not all good days we would have bad days i got my hair pulled by some of the students got food thrown on me had the students scream, yell in my face I have been pinched or hit. I never gotten mad at them for what they did I would just say no don't do that or I would just walk away and tell the teacher. I always have a positive attitude I am fun to be with I work good with other's. I went Costa Rica for 2 weeks for a service trip I helped build houses and made cement for the side walks because they did not have any. I went to elementary schools played with the children read stories I colored with the children I taught them english, I painted the school fence and side walk blue. I also went to leadership camp I helped the campers with projects and problems that would happen in our daily life. I would plan activities for the campers and play fun games then after we are having fun I would assist them back to there camp rooms. I am currently going to Palomar College on Tuesdays and Thursdays for child development at 9:10-12-35 am. I am working at the Safari Park working with food, i also help out at catering i serve food to guest help set out chairs plan what there private event will look like, i wash and clean dishes. I served food and help set up chairs at a thanksgiving party for the special needs students we played songs and played games. There were also a christmas parties and dances i help set up and played with the students. It would be an honor to work as a special needs caregiver i am carrying, honest, work good with others i am a fast learner i obey rules i listen good.
