I became a caregiver after the passing of my grandparents. I was a volunteered caretaker for them for two years and it was the best experience. I was able to spend a lot of time with them and became very close. I cooked, cleaned and bathed them regularly. But I knew I had a gift for it and so pursed my now occupation as a private caregiver for a sweet elderly man named Walter who I have been caring for almost 2 years. I have my BLS - basic life support certification for CPR and am pursuing two programs one for radiology and anesthesiology technician all at Pasadena City college. I am also a dog sitter/dog walker for my cousin who has two dogs a husky named Scout and a little mixed mutt named Audi. Both of which I help when she needs me . I love going on walks with them , take them to the beach down the street or even going to the dog park and watch them run like crazy. Scout is the most lovable dog you can come across , while Audi is more selective on who he likes sometimes. But being able to enjoy my time with them always makes me the happiest and I would love to do that for someone else as well.
