Besides caring for my own pets, which include tortoises, frogs, birds, rabbits, and dogs, I also have taken the following courses, online :
Pet CPR and First Aid through Pet Health Academy ( expires April 2019), renewed through Holly and Hugo, July 2020.
Pet Nutrition ( through Holly and Hugo ).
Veterinary Support Assistant ( through Holly and Hugo ).
Pet Physical Therapy ( through Holly and Hugo )
In addition to being a pet owner, I am a puppy-raiser ( and puppy-sitter ) for a service dog organization, and with one of my dogs am part of a registered Therapy Team.
I also am an app-based dog walker.
As of May 2022, am a Fear-Free Certified Pet Professional.
As of December 2023, I am a Certified Dog Trainer-Comprehensive, and can offer my dog training services, as well.
