Hello! My name is Amber and I am 27 years old. I graduated from California State University Monterey Bay in 2018 with my Bachelor's Degree in Human Communications with a focus in Journalism and Media Studies.
I was born with multiple heart defects and have had three open heart surgeries ( 4 days old, 2 years old, 25 years old). My heart is well now and I am thankful for my health. Speaking of my health, I have become more passionate about holistic health over the last couple of years. I was placed on an antidepressant at the age of 17 and I was never offered another choice by my doctors. These are a few reasons why learning holistic health is important to me.
I have one brother who is two years older than me. He has a daughter who is now three; my niece Marley. My mom worked for the State of California for 30 years and my dad was a fire fighter. Both of my parents are now retired and living in the Valley with their two dogs! My dad was diagnosed with Early-Onset Dementia/Alzheimer's in the beginning of 2020, and I have spent the last two years living with my parents in order to make it easier for my mom and also so that I could spend as much time as possible with him.
I have recently found my own place and will be moving out of my parents place in the beginning of February and will be living by myself with my dog in Marina. I am excited for this new chapter!
