I am fairly new to pet care through Sittercity, but I have been pet sitting for the past 6 years with family members. Over the years I have had to watch over pets such as cats and dogs by feeding them, staying over night for multiple days, spending time with them, cleaning up litter boxes/backyard, and even having to give them medication. For giving medication I have given, cats specifically, oral medication as well as scheduled shots for insulin (for a cat as well). I have really enjoyed getting to be able to care for animals especially if I can help out their owners in any way I can. Over the past 6 years I was in college to get my Bachelors in Psychology as well as be on the scholarship for soccer, so pet sitting was something I did part time/when I was needed. I would love to keep gaining more experience because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and getting to help out their owners.
