I offered a position above full time, at 55 hours per week, at $6 per hour. The reply I got was that this individual "couldn't work 55 hours a week at $3 less than minimum wage".

I didn't realize that having no higher education, a high school diploma (possibly), and no "consistant" work experience means you deserve $15/hour to sit on my couch, watch my cable, and rock a 3 month old to sleep. Perhaps I should quit my day job and start nannying as well.
