I've loved animals my whole life and finally dipped further into it my eighth birthday when I adopted my first dog. I've trained him to be an emotional support animal, and he almost passed his service animal test. My bond with him has molded me into who I am today- he's helped lift me out of depression and life on the other side makes me grateful to be here.
I strongly care about the wellbeing of animals and people because of my experiences. I've volunteered at shelters, ranches, and family farms for a total of 4 years. For about 1-2 years after volunteering, I was self-employed as an animal and home caretaker. I would walk my neighbors' dogs, train, bathe, and feed them, water their plants, and upkeep their home. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my neighbors and I would regularly help them with various tasks when they needed it.
