I am a recent graduate from UC Davis with a degree in Animal Science. My passion is everything animals! Since I was little all I've ever wanted to do was work with animals. I started pet sitting when I was in junior high, and have looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses.
In collage, I halter broke a dairy calf who was used as one of the cows in the annual Picnic Day Parade.
My roommate and I have a goal to start a non-profit animal rescue in the next year. I am currently going through Animal Behavior Collage's Dog Trainer program. My goal is to gain certification within the next year and use what I've learned to help our rescues find great homes, and start training professionally.
I rode horses for 4 years and I rode English dressage/hunter/jumper. In exchange for lessons I worked as a stable hand. I'm no stranger to hard work and I love being in the barn.
I currently have an orphaned black kitten who I bottle-fed from the time he was 3 weeks old and a 1 year old black lab. I've graduated from Pecto's level 1 and 2 training with my lab and am working toward Canine Good Citizenship certification with her.
I walk my dog and any other rescues we have every single day, because I believe one of the best tools to avoid bad habits is daily exercise, and I would love to help your fur babies achieve the same.
I am pet CPR certified.
I believe that raising our fur kids (large and small) is a team effort. We can't do it on our own, and I would love to be a part of your team.
