I have worked professionally with pets (mainly dogs and cats) for 4 years and loved every second of it. I worked at a general veterinary practice for one year and an emergency and specialty hospital for three additional years. During this time I became more accustomed to handling sometimes difficult and senior pets. I personally have had one senior dog that needed special care due to lameness and daily medication needs. I am comfortable administering medication, talking on walks and working with your pet to set boundaries if they need consistent reminders if they are younger. I love animals and know how much my dogs mean to me and keep that same compassion with any other pet that comes my way. I would be delighted to be your pet's home away from home should we connect!
