Lissette’s Bio

I am an animal lover, a vegan, & I need to make $ to pay off my tuition. My experience working with animals began at a young age. I've always loved taking in animals, fixing them up & rehoming them. If you leave your pet in my care, rest assured their needs will be met. There will be no trace of feces if they have an accident. If they stay overnight with me, I live right next to a giant park with tons of grass. I also have 2 clear lawns with fencing & grass for them to roam safely. I will also cook for the animal (with your permission, allergies & preferences will have to be stated). I will cater to your animal's lifestyle & make sure they feel comfortable & are pampered. Treats, daily activities such as walks, puzzles, training sessions, grooming services, etc... I have successfully trained my cats on a leash, and have come up with a full proof method to leash training cats. If you are interested in those services I am willing to work with your pet, *keep in mind, leash training cats is very time consuming, & it's ultimately UP TO THE ANIMAL whether or not they wish to be outside & explore. (your pet may not qualify or want to be outside) I will have a discussion with you about your pet, and see if they qualify (like being outside) to be leash trained. My furry companions are 2 male black cats: Constantine & Blake. I am currently a student on my second term studying to become an RVT. I have a great GPA & am working hard to come up with more money towards my tuition. My future aspirations also include getting a degree in animal behavior. Some of my previous experience working with animals includes working with packers & horses in the mountains (horses are very similar to dogs, if not, more difficult to train, & harder to gain their trust). I have no formal certifications at the moment, but A LOT of training and experience working around dogs, cats, and horses. (I'm a future RVT/animal nurse after all ) I have a stethoscope & am trained to perform physical evaluations (*I am not a Dr., by law I cannot diagnose, but I will take the animals vitals if something goes awry, as well as perform CPR & take them to the nearest emergency animal hospital *at your request) I am confident in what I do and I love enriching animals lives. I have a lot of patience with animals and know how to work around their little habits. Thank you for considering me as a candidate for looking after your pet. (feel free to send any questions my way)
