I have had and loved animals for my entire life. From the time I was born until now, I've taken care of cats, dogs, rats, and snakes. Many of my animals have passed, and I feel extremely blessed to have had the time to care for them in their final days. I have no problem with animal transportation, dispensing medication, preparing special meals, or cleaning up accidents.
My lab and bulldog both sadly lost the use of their back legs toward the ends of their lives and had to be diapered or physically held up to use the bathroom. My senior cat made it to almost 23 years old, and during his last days, I slept on the floor with him and had to hand-feed him. I would do it all again in a heartbeat because I love animals so fiercely. I believe they deserve as much love, respect, and dignity as any other living being.
This year, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two French Bulldogs, one of whom struggles with intense anxiety and is highly selective about people. I treat them as if they were my own, making sure they’re well-exercised, mentally stimulated, given plenty of affection, provided with fresh water, and have carefully prepared meals and supplements. Additionally, I’ve cared for two pit bull mixes for several years, one of which also has severe anxiety requiring vigilant supervision to prevent her from bolting outside, chewing through the fence, or injuring herself due to separation anxiety.
Currently, I look after three cats and a ball python of my own. I understand how important and personal animal care is, and vow to do my very best to take care of your animal with the same loving tenderness that you would. I love to play, go on walkies, do enrichment activities, and bond with animals.
