I was raised with a wide variety of pets. I was 5 when my father bought my first horse a very gentle palomino gelding he was over 20 years old but he instilled in me what would become my way of caring for all animals. All animals deserve to be treated with love and respect. I would bring home so many stray and or injured animals that my mom would look at me every time I came in house with a box and say now what? She always helped me doctor the pets until they could be released(mainly squirrels, lizards, birds, and snakes). The cats and dogs we found would be listed in the lost and found of our local paper in hopes of finding their owner (since I knew the heartbreak of losing a pet that did not get returned). My pets are my family and I treat them as such. Being their caregiver we are responsible to feed them, play with them, provide them with a nice bed and make sure they are happy, social , and loved. I currently have 3 cats. One thinks he is a dog (maincoon) I let him keep on believing since I try to get him to walk on a leash. Most days he will just sit down and look at me like I am crazy until I pick him up and carry him. My last dog was a cattle dog that we adopted up in Oregon. She was with us for10 wonderful years. If you a looking for someone who will care for your pet like you would then look no further. If your pets outside then I am also outside. (Fenced yard or not) I do request you provide a bed if spending the night since it would have their scent and helps them to relax and sleep through the night. Cat care-your home I will check on them , feed them, play with them, clean litter box per your directions once a day or every other day.
