I grew up on a mini-farm, raising animals from a young age. As an adult, my pets have been my companions and have lived well beyond their expected ages. I am a semi-retired elementary science teacher. I have always enjoyed being outdoors with my dogs, as they usually accompany me on my hiking excursions.

I have been a dog walker for many years and have cared for friends’ and neighbors’ pets throughout my life. I worked as a part-time vet tech for a year at a veterinary clinic in south Texas, while I was teaching there in the early 2000’s.

If you are like me, your pets are a part of your family. I understand the need to find someone you can trust with a member of your family, and with your home.
