Maggie’s Bio

before we had our human children we had a kennel of Alaskan Malamutes and one Siberian Husky. We raced (sled racing in snow in Palm Springs), and countless dog shows (California, NV, AZ, and Washington), and sold many puppies.
I was born in Pasadena (St. Luke's), raised in La Canada and Glendale, married my HS sweetheart and now living in Sunland. We have raised our sons here, worked here, since 1984.
I worked for LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) for over 9 years until I was laid off in 2011.
I was lucky enough to be my granddaughter's daycare provider for 2 1/2 years (grandma is not happy that someone is starting preschool in January), so I will have lots of time on my hands now!
I have been the assistant walking coach for the Pasadena Pacers, and a volunteer for Little League Baseball for over 20 years.
