Luckily, I was born into a dog loving household where there has always been a dog. I've been fortunate as an adult that I never felt the need for my own as I'm constantly surrounded by these devoted animals. My parents currently have Bo Bear a white German shepherd mix and Lacey a chihuahua/shepherd mix. I help take both dogs on daily separate walks as Lacey can't walk long due to hip problems.
As a personal assistant, I was fundamental in the growth of JoJo a merle French bulldog for over a year. We averaged two walks a day, weekly visits to the dog park, dropped off at the groomers and accompanied at regular vet visits.
