Stephanie’s Bio

I'm currently a nanny and hoping to use my free time to care for pets. Although, I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking off and on since I was about 12-years-old, I started doing it much more seriously and frequently about two and a half years ago. I was initially more comfortable with dogs, as I had grown up with multiple dogs but not cats. However, the majority of the jobs I have done in the last couple of years have been caring for cats and I have absolutely loved it! In fact, after about a year of mostly caring for kitties I decided to adopt my own.

Also, my brother and sister-in-law are veterinarians so I guess you could say loving and caring for animals is in my family - plus they're great resources if there is an emergency or I just need some tip. I find working with animals to be extremely gratifying, and as such consider myself to be very attentive and loving.

I have experience caring for special-needs animals, mostly with diabetic cats, and I am certified through the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid.

For fun I like practicing yoga, going on hikes, and absolutely love reading.
