I am so happy to write this review and recommendation for Nancy. This Thanksgiving, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and seek professional sitting for my two-year-old cat, Honey. Prior to meeting Nancy, I was always reluctant and anxious to leave town and kept it to a minimum. Honey Bee is a sweet, affectionate, and rather skittish little girl, so it was important to me that I found someone who both understands cats, their quirks, their needs, and who is patient with me as a nervous kitty mom!
Upon meeting Nancy, both Honey and I felt this would be a great match; Nancy is approachable, caring, and was understanding and reassuring when I expressed to her my apprehension with leaving Honey. Nancy visited with me and Honey at my home for the first time, and Nancy's compassion for animals was immediately felt by both Honey and I. Nancy listened as I gave her the "run down" on all things Honey, made note of where Honey’s food, toys, and hangouts were, as well as asked thoughtful questions to ensure the best possible experience for all.
Honey readily opened up to Nancy, asking to be pet and already showing off with her toys. I took this as the ultimate sign, and entrusted Nancy to watch Honey for 4 days over the Thanksgiving holiday. In this time, I received numerous pictures and updates every visit (2x a day). I looked forward to Nancy's texts, all of them updates that made me smile. Honey was not only being fed, given water, and her litter box cleaned, but she also had a friend to play with and hang with. I know that Honey had a happy Thanksgiving, and I am so thankful to have found Nancy- someone who is trustworthy, reliable, and kind. I’m looking forward to working with Nancy in the future, and I know my fur baby is too!
