My name is Grace, I’m 22 and have a passion and love for rescuing animals, especially dogs, cats, and horses! There was never a time growing up that my family didn’t have at least one pet in the house at a time, that’s where my love for animals began! My life mission is to help as many animals as possible with my own rehabilitation sanctuary. (This dream is right around the corner!) My best friend is Cooper, he’s my Beagle Corgi who’s been around for 9 years. I found him on the side of the highway. Cooper and I LOVE our hikes, he can’t get enough! Cooper and I currently foster senior special needs dogs to give them the best golden years yet! I can’t forget about my wild child Mika, I found her on the streets, VERY SKINNY and VERY PREGNANT! Within 12 hours of being at my home, she popped out 4 healthy kittens! Mika enjoys climbing her cat trees and hunting her shoe strings. Benttley is my first horse I got when I was 13, he’s now 26 and is spending his retirement years eating his weight in grass and teaching little kids how to ride bareback! Berkley is my 2 year mare I rescued from a Texas Kill Pin last February! When she’s finished growing she is going to take over Benttleys position, she is full of personality and sassy and I can’t wait to see what’s in store! I love my animals, there’s just something about a wet nose and a wagging tail that makes my heart smile! I believe animal are family and should be treated like family as well!
