I have had dogs and cats all my life, and added the occasional bird, mouse, ferret, snake, lizard, and fish to my list of loved critters. I am a quiet, peaceful person, well used to listening to pet's desires and able to administer medications when needed. Because I have no family living close by, I am free to stay in your home during the major holidays as well as ordinary days. Within Montrose, I have no time limits, but prefer outside of town to limit my stay in your home to 5 weeks in summer and/or 2 weeks in winter. I do not leave your pets except to get groceries, normally.
While living in Hawaii (30 years) I lived on a farm, raising ducks, rabbits, chickens, geese, and day-old calves to 8 months age. So I am fine with lots of kinds of animals and gentle with all of them.
When I am sitting a house or pets, I never invite anyone over to your home. Being a hermit is fine with me.
I do not offer services in my own home. Pets feel safe and serene in places they live and that's where they should be when mom and dad are gone away.
I can be available in most cases with one day's notice. My fee is $30 a day no matter how many animals live in the home.
