Hi! Since I am in my 50's I have MANY years experience with pet sitting! PLEASE DON'T LET MY AGE FOOL YOU THOUGH, I have as much if not more energy than I've ever had! IT US TRUE! I do try to stay in excellent shape and I lOVE the outdoors, especially summer! Sunshine and swimming pools, dog parks and picnics, all the fun that comes with summer. I have ALWAYS had pets of my own, dogs and cats mostly, but also one horse ( a veeerrry long time ago), a gerbil, and more recently I even had some mini neon fish!
Besides all of my own, I've also pretty much always at one time or another watched pets for quite a few people asking for help on Craigs list and in these last few years also helped MANY people in need found on the app NEXTDOOR! I LOVE ANIMALS, I DO NOT OUT UP WITH ANY TYPE OF mistreatment any of animals, and I would never ever let anything happen to anybody's pet that I was responsible for. I've been around enough of them to understand different types of behaviors for different ages. IE: which like the longest walks without getting overheated and which prefer indoor naps more ( cats lol). I surely understand animal anxiety ( especially separation anxiety 🥺) That's where being my age comes in handy because with age comes more compassion, patience, understanding, responsibility & dependability just to name a few! Interacting with pets is very important too, big dogs, tiny dogs, all ages and same with cats. Each have their unique own personalities and I take pride in my ability to connect with each of them. My number ONE rule is COMMUNICATING WITH THE PARENTS! I am flexible, available, whether it's 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, overnights, weekends or multiple times. And I do not mind the last minute, emergency calls! I want to point out that although this site made us say our rates for each little thing that I really do not charge that way at all, so please don't pay attention to those numbers. I prefer to work it all out with you!
