I've spent most of my professional life in the automotive field,but my past history of living on a small farm for a number of years in TN and my love for all animals has prepared my for a current professional direction change.I raised and trained Bouvier Des Flandres mainly,for about 5 years and this began as a necessity in a house where we would end up having a crazy unique family: 1 Rottweiler(Bronx, special care after leg amputation), 1 German Shephard, 6 Bouviers (and 3 planned and wonderful litters, one Incredible Cocker Spaniel... a rescued PMU Clydesdale, and Tennessee Walker. Two Donkeys(we actually purchased the momma but got a special surprise donkey foal not long after Mommas arrival. We had cats... And a list of exotics also:Green cheek Conure,a bearded dragon,Iguana,a Ghost Crab,a Bourkes Parakeet...I had an extensive live bug collection...And the wildest side of the family was an individually climate conditioned spare bedroom where we kept out snakes (and lizzards) the highest simultaneous count was 26 snakes at one time.My favorite animals to care for though are Doggos.I can work with red zone reactions, and modify neurotic behaviors.We can learn to walk nice on a leash,or I can help you work on animal introduction.I'm recently out of work because of disability and want to use this time to shift my career into animal care.
On the farm, I learned to communicate with these animals in a way the helped me heal from a lifelong of debilitating anxiety attacks. Being consistent with my own energy was such an integral part of being a healthy alpha energy that the work I did for them healed much of my own inner turmoil. I am not happy doing retail sales, and I can't physically turn wrenches regularly anymore at 37, though it's a a great hobby.
I almost forgot... "farm" number two for me was recently here in Belmont. I was putting work in building the fences, making the chicken runs, tilling the rows of garden beds and the perimeter beds, caring for chickens,milking the goats,and restoring soil.Here we had a Senile Great Pyranees(between Cheif the cocker Dixie,I don't have any problem administering ear/eye treatments),and a couple of mixed breed bois. By far my biggest growth area this time was adding a brand new element:4 kids(5,7,11,and 15.)Every time I come back to that place to visit now, Denna, a 60lb Aus Ret.mix with a nervous temperament,greets me with reckless abandon and love. Seeing That TransformationHasRemindedMeOfHowRewarding BorksAre!
