Hello, My name is Edina Lemkin. I am eighteen years old, originally from Boston, Massachusetts. I recently moved to New Britain, CT to take some time off from College to get a job and save up. Before this, I was attending school at Suffolk University in MA as a psychology major. I have experience with children and pets. As a child, I grew up with two dogs my whole life. They were big dogs, one a German Shepherd and the other a chow mix. I'm a very compassionate and kind person so taking care of your pets would be right up my ally! I also had a cat for most of my life who was a long haired black cat named Zee. He was my cat so I was responsible for taking care of him, feeding him, making sure his litter box was clean etc. As for other experience with animals and children. I interned at the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell, MA full time for a month working with animals, cleaning tanks, feeding them, etc and I also worked in the Nature Preschool that was in the center. I was an overnight summer camper for 8 years and in my last year, I was a CIT (Counselor-in-Training) in which I was working with kids around the clock full time for 8 weeks over the summer. For 4 of those 8 weeks, I lived in a bunk with one of the girls age groups as a counselor. I have done a lot of volunteer work within my school (K-12) and within my community. I was an AP honors student who graduated with an 3.4 GPA and acceptances to Lesley University, Suffolk University, Mass College of Pharmacy and Health, and Bridgewater State University.
