My name is Serena DeMartino and I am 24 years old. I am moving to North Hollywood, California mid-December and would like to continue my passion in childcare as a private nanny. I have been working with infants and toddlers since the end of 2019, and have a genuine love for taking care of children’s education and development. I am excited to begin working with your family and child(ren.)
Throughout my journey in childcare, I have taken care of infants and toddlers ages ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Although infants have a special place in my heart. I have a deep understanding of little ones' needs and wants, and am able to handle the challenges that come along with the ages. I am proud that I am able to create a stimulating, fun, but safe environment for your little one to develop not only physically, but emotionally.
I am CPR, FA, EpiPen, and COVID vaccinated. I am able to speak and understand basic Spanish as well. I am very big on communication between the family and I, along with having exceptional problem solving skills. I am able to develop an age appropriate routine that includes fine and gross motor, and of course sensory and art activities. I was an assistant swim teacher to young children and am also a strong swimmer. I also make sure to maintain a clean environment, from cleaning and sanitizing toys, and basic cleaning around the house.
