I have raised/hatched/cared for animals since I was three years old. Throughout the years I have had fish, frogs, newts, turtles, butterflies and a dog as pets. I went to horse camp to learn all I could about horses. I also have wildlife experience from volunteering at the Dane County Wisconsin Humane Society/Four Lakes Wildlife Center, where I helped care for a variety of mammal and bird species. I worked at the Harlow Center for Biological Psychology during my junior and senior years of college. This job gave me great insight into the importance of enrichment and care for our rhesus macaques.
