I live in NoMA Washington DC with my husband less than a mile from Kingsman Field Dog Park and about 3 miles from Lansburgh Dog Park. I grew up with a dog and a cat so I feel comfortable with pets ranging from 1 lb to 200 lbs. My husband and I are newleyweds and with most of are friends going through that stage in life we travel a lot, which makes owning our own pup difficult right now, but until that time we will treat your pet as my own.

I have always been an animal lover. I had a Labrador and Tabby cat growing up and my parents and inlaws both have Labradors now; which I watch occasionally when they go out of town.

I will come for a visit or spend the night. I request a minimum 30-minute visit where I will take your dog on a leashed walk in your neighborhood. This also includes, feeding, watering, litter box and/or cage cleaning and basic home care (mail/newspaper retrievel, open/closing blinds, plant watering, etc. For those dogs with more energy, I am a runner and will offer to run your dog. I can also spend the night in your home so your pets can maintain their routine in the safety and comfort of their own environment.


Before sitting, it would be great to know a few things: Are there any behaviors you are working on that you want reinforced? And how can I make your animal most comfortable? Do they like having their food bowl out all day for grazing, or set meal times? And any other information that will make the stay as comfortable as possible.
