I have always loved animals, but to me dogs and cats are a mans most loyal and best friend. I have had 2 dogs growing up as a family, one Black Lab and a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Turning 18 I got my own Pit bull, Paisley. She was the most loyal and trained dog. It was not easy to train her but dedication, love and her willingness to never give up, she did it. She was trained so well and was also trained to be and is a service dog. Every dog I have had was treated as a human baby, even though to me that was my actual baby.
Being a being a babysitter and a nanny to many children, almost every family had at least one dog; size would vary from miniature Maltese sizes to Great Dane sizes. The dogs would be walked at least 3 times a day and depending on the dog and instructions of the owner 3 meals a day as well.
Because of the love I have for animals, I watched and nannied a beautiful Pit bull Mix, Bruce. For the duration of the 4 years I watched her, her time of stay at my house would vary from as little as two weeks to 3 and a half years, at one time.
Going on runs, going to the beach, going in the pool, playing fetch and going wherever any dog I watch leads me to whatever he/she smells, is always something I find very important to do multiple times a day. It not only gives the dog some fun but lets them get out all of their energy!
