Nancy’s Bio
We recently sold our hobby farm (horses, dogs, cats, chickens, donkeys and a parrot) and closed my dog training business to retire and travel aboard our sailboat with our 2 German shepherds.
Through my dog training business, Dogs to Class, I have trained and rehabilitated numerous rescue/shelter dogs and family pets. Most of my clients came through veterinarian referrals that saw first-hand the results of my training program.
Personally, I have trained, competed and titled 8 German shepherds in dog sports. In addition, I was the Training Director for Nature Coast Working Dog Club. On a personal level, I created a successful GSD breeding program producing working dogs for competition, detection, and search & rescue.
On the "human-side," I was a health care administrator in senior care for 9 years and taught elementary and middle school for 14 years.
I have a MEd from the University of Florida.

Nancy is the best ! She is so caring and knowledgeable. She handled my young male German Shepherd as if it was her own pup. She truly understands not only the dogs needs but the owners needs also. Highly recommend !!!
Nancy is an incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate dog trainer. She knows how to work with a myriad of personalities. Every time she watches my dog he learns something, gets lots of exercise, and is just happy to exist. He always loves to see her and has honestly adopted her into his personal family. I trust her to handle any situation that may arise because of her decades of experience with dogs. I can't recommend her enough for petsitting.
