When I was growing up, I had had a dog named Schroder, he was a Beagle Basset hound mix. I raised him as a puppy when I was 5 years old all the way up to 2013 when he unfortunately passed away. I have been always wanting to take on a new pet but my mom wouldn’t let me. Now that I have been on my own since 2019, and have finished up college, I have been pondering about dog ownership. I talked to my mom, and she said she recommends me do dog sitting/walks to build up experience with owning a dog. My grandmother and my sister both own dogs and I have tooken care of my grandmother’s old dog, named Randy. Hes a doxen and he only has 1 tooth left and can’t eat hard food. I hope to one day get a dog much like Schroder, I miss him.
