I would love to take care of your dogs. I am at a point in my life where it is the first time since I was a child that I haven't had a dog. I love my Sophie (13 year old Maine Coon), but...she's not a dog.
The last dog I had was a Lab-Newfie mix who lived to be 14.5 years old and that was when I lived in NY. I live by myself so my schedule is flexible for your pet care needs. I watch my friend's Boxer when she goes away, and I take care of the fish, cats, dog (and plants) who live upstairs when the college student goes away. A friend of mine just moved back to Massachusetts, but while she lived here I also took care of her 3 cats.
My family are all dog lovers. My daughter's husband was a K-9 handler for the Ulster County Sheriff's Department in NY and they have 3 dogs. I am a retired teacher and former Head Start supervisor. Please contact me so we may further discuss your pet needs. Thank you, Lynne
