I am a retired Registered Nurse so caregiving is what I do. My experience with pet sitting is 'on the job training'--we had pets in my home my entire life. I have always taken care of them and consider them to be family members. At the moment I have 6 cats and they are my heart. Through the years I have done some petsitting for friends if the need arose, and since I am retired now I have more time to devote to caring for pets whose 'parents' can't be at home all the time but want to make sure they are still cared for.

I am most experienced with cats, and next with dogs. I am uncomfortable around Jack Russell's and Pit Bulls. I cannot claim experience with birds or fish. But, if you have cats or dogs other than the above mentioned, I will care for them as if they were my own.
