Denita was great until she wasn't anymore.

We hired her to help out with our feisty four year old back in December. In the beginning, she was great! Our daughter loved her and asked us when she was coming back several times. She was punctual (most times), and even did extra stuff to help out-like folding our daughter's laundry. She was available most times when we needed her.

This lasted for about two solid months, then things started to get weird. I reached out to her several times during the months of Feb and March, only to be given an excuse or reason why she couldn't come. I even asked her to be honest and let us know if she no longer wanted to work for us. She claimed that she loved hanging out with our daughter, and that she was just busy. In March, I had a baby and my husband and I both reached out to her several times for help while I was in the hospital. She responded once by saying that she was busy, but would be free soon. We kept reaching out, and she eventually just started ignoring us both. It was the weirdest thing ever!!! It's hard to find a really good fit for your kids, and continuity of care is important to us, so we wanted to keep her around for our little girl. I even left her a voicemail reassuring her that I wasn't asking for help with the little baby, but for help with the four year old. I asked her to let me know either way. She continued to ignore my husband and I, and eventually just fell off the face of the Earth!

If you are looking for someone to watch your little one a few times, she may be good for you, but if you are looking for someone to stick around, then sadly, she may not be the one!
